Programs

Four areas of work, each chosen because it changes what is possible for a family in Southwest Florida.

Family abuse prevention

Women and children escaping domestic abuse need practical help and a community that understands what they are facing. The Foundation supports both.

  • Educational workshops
  • Resources and referrals to local services
  • Community awareness events and fundraisers

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24 hours a day at 1-800-799-7233.

Health and wellness

Our founders spent their lives teaching communities about health, nutrition, and preventive care. The Foundation continues that work in Southwest Florida through wellness initiatives and health education open to the general public.

  • Health education sessions
  • Community wellness initiatives

Youth and family services

A young person with a mentor, a plan, and a basic understanding of money has a very different set of options from one without. The Foundation arranges workshops and provides scholarship support.

  • Mentoring and tutoring
  • Career guidance and leadership development
  • Financial literacy workshops
  • Scholarships

Food security

Hunger is the most immediate crisis a family can face, and it is one of the most solvable. The Foundation runs food collection drives and provides monetary support to food banks serving Southwest Florida.

  • Community food collection drives
  • Monetary support to local food banks
