Leadership
The people responsible for carrying the Foundation's mission forward.
President

Shaila Sethi-Singh, MD
President
Family Physician
A family physician for thirty years, Dr. Sethi-Singh has cared for generations of families and has always believed that healing goes beyond medicine. It begins with compassion, understanding, and truly listening to those who need help.
Her commitment to service was shaped early. Growing up with physician parents, she saw firsthand that being a doctor was about far more than caring for patients. Her parents believed deeply in giving back: sharing knowledge, promoting better health through education, and helping those in need through philanthropy. Their example instilled a lifelong conviction that with knowledge, compassion, and service, we can create meaningful and lasting change in a community.
In Wisconsin, Dr. Sethi-Singh served on the board of the Women's Center in Waukesha, supporting safety, advocacy, and resources for women and children affected by domestic violence, and on the Institutional Review Board at the Medical College of Wisconsin. After moving to Florida in 2012, she served as an adjunct professor at Florida Gulf Coast University, as a director of RAAGA, Inc. for ten years supporting Indian arts and culture, and as president of the India Association of Southwest Florida, where she worked to promote cultural understanding, inclusion, and community connection.
Some of the causes closest to her heart come from her own life. Having personally experienced domestic abuse, she understands that abuse does not discriminate by education, resources, profession, or social standing, and she knows the courage it takes to seek help and the importance of having someone willing to stand beside you. Through the Foundation, she hopes to turn compassion into action for survivors of domestic violence as they rebuild their lives.
A mother of four, she is equally committed to children, including families affected by childhood cancer and the importance of early detection, timely intervention, and compassionate support.
Her vision for the Foundation rests on a simple belief: when we use our experiences, our knowledge, and our resources to lift others, we can turn adversity into purpose and compassion into meaningful change. As President, she is committed to building bridges within the community, supporting those who need a voice, and inspiring others to join in making a difference, one person, one family, and one community at a time.
